Professor Yanqing Duan, is the Director of Business and Information Systems Research Centre (BISC), in the Business School of the University of Bedfordshire. Professor Duan received her BSc and MSc from China Agricultural University and PhD from Aston University, UK. Her principal research interest is the use and impact of emerging Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in organisations. Her recent research has focused on how, why and to what extent Big Data and Analytics is impacting on decision making, innovation, and organisational performance. She has received many research grants from various funding bodies, such as: European Commission, UK Department for International Development (DFID), JISC, British Council, etc. She has published over 180 peer reviewed articles, including papers in European Journal of Information Systems, IEEE transaction on Engineering Management, Information & Management, European Journal of Marketing, Journal of Business Research, Expert Systems with Applications, Information Technology & People. |
